The Stock Show

It’s a yearly tradition my Dad started when we were kids.  We went to the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo every year and it was such a big deal. We all loved it!  It comes every January for about 3 weeks.  There was no way Josie was going to sit through a two hour rodeo, so we took her to the stock show which was a lot of fun!

We first hit the Petting Farm and she was a little hesitant at first.  The animals were as tall or taller than she was.  Once she saw the “quack, quacks” she was fine and didn’t want to leave.  Then we headed over to the cow barn and it was hilarious! There are rows and rows of cows being groomed for showing or sale.  These are the most gussied up cows you’ve ever see.  Anyway, Josie “mooed” the entire time we were in the cow barn.  Hilarious!

This was after she saw the ducks, notice she's not holding Kyle's hand anymore
