Labor Day Weekend in Aspen

It's one of the best weekend in Aspen...the last real weekend of summer tourists, people start clearing out of town for the 8 weeks of downtime before ski season hits and The Motherlode Volleyball Tournament is all over town and patios are filled with people. It's been a couple of years since we've seen so many people in town....that's a good thing!

We had a full house, the three of us, Mom, Kel and Dan and Andrew and my cousin Tyler.  Most of the group biked down valley to Basalt and we enjoyed lunch on the patio of a bakery for my Mom's birthday.  We watched volleyball, shopped and had a relaxing weekend.  I was really looking forward to it because it was the of about 8 weeks of craziness for us.

Josie is officially walking, more on that later, so she was all over the place.  The fountains were especially fun along with the balloons.  Our dinner on the patio was more of like, grab a bite and chase after Josie who was far from interested in eating on a patio when 1. the fountains are visible from our table and 2. there is another little girl running around.  Ah the life with a new walker...
